JEN JAMULA & Alll GOLDBERG are the creators of two wildly popular live sketch comedy shows named “Biogologues” and “How to Break Up by Text”. These two critically acclaimed comedians first met each other as students at Yale University. Who knew Ivy league graduates could have a sense of humor?!
Their work has received extensive media coverage in outlets such as USA Today,Newsweek, VICE, The Village Voice,WIRED, Refinery29,The Huffington Post, Forbes, Mashable and more.The two were also featured on the cover of Time Out NY,and ranked among the “top ten funniest women in NYC”.
“Biogologues” is the internet performed,word-for- word,onstage. Alii and Jen find the most fascinating, if not mildly disturbing content that they can on the web,then create characters and scenarios to bring the content to life. They act out community forums,Missed Connections, Yelp reviews, OkCupid profiles, fan fiction, tweets,comment sections and more.
“How to Break Up by Text” is an interactive stage show where Alii and Jen perform and analyze the most ridiculous but hilarious breakup screenshots. Audience members can also submit their text breakups to have them analyzed on the spot. The show was conceived after the duo created “No Text Weekend”, a global movement to encourage people to talk instead of text, which received pledges from all over the world and was featured on Good Morning America and Real Simple,garnering over 25 million media impressions,in its inaugural year.
Outside of their stage shows,the duo is also working on a new web series titled “2 Girls,1Show” and will soon be launching a podcast in partnership with The Daily Dot called “2 Girls,1Podcast”.
