Elliott Morgan is one of the founding members of SourceFed, a comedy news YouTube channel that was acquired by Discovery in 2014. At SourceFed, Elliott created many shows, including Ultimate Pop Culture, an irreverent, Soup-like entertainment news show that amassed millions of views.
Elliott departed Discovery Digital Networks in 2014 to pursue bigger fish, namely standup comedy. Since then, Elliott has become the first and only digital influencer to have a one-hour stand-up comedy special. “Premature,” a comedy special about everything from Schrödinger’s cat to botched veterinary procedures, was produced by Supergravity Pictures and later acquired by Vimeo-On-Demand and Fullscreen.
Elliott is a comedian, actor, and writer. He has appeared on E!, Spike, Nickelodeon, and TLC. He is the creator and star of the pilot “Bad Influencers,” a show about a trio of social influencers trying to legitimize themselves in the vapid world of clicks and followers. Over the years, Elliott has amassed a large, devout online audience, regularly attracting fans to his shows all over the country. He’s produced his own tours, on both coasts of the United States, and he performs multiple times a week all over southern California.
In late 2017, Elliott began performing his second hour, “Holy Sh*t,” a deeply personal stand-up comedy set that explores far heavier topics than its predecessor. Elliott also remains deeply entrenched in the world of YouTube, regularly appearing on juggernaut channels such as Smosh, Sugar Pine 7, and Spike’s Lip Sync Battle. He is a professional host and has worked with such brands as Mental_Floss, Mashable, and has even hosted multiple times alongside The Muppets.
Elliott is from central Florida, and his southern roots underpin a style of comedy that is intelligent, dry, and dark. Elliott studied zoology at the University of Florida and hopes to one day bring that skillset to the stage by having an elephant sit next to him. Someone’s gotta talk about it, you know?
