Position Overview

We are seeking a business-minded, hands-on AI Business Transformation Lead to work closely with Business Unit Directors and teams across Gersh to understand how each business operates, identify high-value opportunities, and translate them into practical AI solutions.

The role focuses on both operational efficiency and business growth and is ideal for a curious, highly capable professional who combines strong business judgment with deep, current knowledge of generative AI and automation. Proactive, resourceful, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

The role will also support projects beyond AI, including assisting with the CRM and Trust/Score rebuild projects.

The person will be embedded with local business teams while reporting to and working closely with the VP of IT & Digital Transformation in the US.

Willing to travel as needed to offices in the EU, UK, and US.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Discovery, Opportunity Identification & Project Delivery

• Understand each business unit’s services, clients, goals, workflows, tools, data, and pain points.
• Identify where AI, automation, or data can drive revenue, service, efficiency, or better decisions.
• Maintain an AI roadmap based on value, impact, feasibility, risk, and adoption.
• Build solutions that identify tenders, prospects, partnerships, market signals, and new business leads.
• Define objectives, requirements, milestones, and owners, coordinate delivery through rollout, and maintain project records, status and risk logs, resource plans, purchase orders, and expenses.

2. AI Solution Delivery, Adoption & Responsible AI

• Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents, copilots, automations, and lightweight applications, piloting with users and iterating quickly.
• Integrate successful solutions into existing systems, scale them responsibly, and provide training and guidance to drive adoption.
• Act as the link between business, technology, data, and external partners, escalating bottlenecks, dependencies, scope changes, and adoption barriers.
• Track outcomes including opportunities, proposal performance, time saved, usage, satisfaction, and quality to ensure solutions and outputs meet user needs and business goals.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, security, confidentiality, IP, oversight, and responsible AI standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in technology, business, engineering, data, product, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience identifying business problems and designing, building, or implementing applied AI, automation, digital transformation, or technology-enabled solutions. Seniority will be assessed through capability, judgment, and evidence of impact.
• Business Acumen: Ability to understand different business models, client needs, commercial processes, and complex workflows, and translate them into clear technology opportunities.
• Stakeholder Management: Confidence and credibility when working with senior business leaders, combined with the ability to listen, ask incisive questions, influence decisions, and explain technical concepts in business language.
• Language: Fluent in Spanish and English.

Technical Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt and context design, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, automation, and rapid prototyping.
• Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, OpenAI / ChatGPT, Anthropic / Claude, APIs, low-code/no-code platforms, or comparable technologies.
• Ability to work with structured and unstructured data, connect systems and workflows, evaluate outputs, and collaborate with engineers on more complex implementations.
• Proficiency with project tracking, collaboration, documentation, automation, media, and diagramming tools to manage projects and produce training and documentation. Experience with platforms such as Asana, Airtable, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 is valuable. Power Automate is highly valued.
• A portfolio, case studies, or demonstrable examples of AI solutions, agents, automations, or prototypes built to solve real business problems is strongly preferred.
