About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Madrid. In this role, you will support the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the company, including accounting, invoicing, project control, reporting and tax-related activities.

You are organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working with financial information. You are eager to contribute to an international and fast-paced environment, working closely with both the Finance team and other business areas.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Administration

• Record customer and supplier invoices and manage accounts receivable and payable.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and prepare payment batches and payments.
• Monitor invoicing and open items and support monthly and year-end closings.
• Manage and file administrative and accounting documentation.

Tax

• Support the preparation and filing of taxes, withholding taxes and other tax obligations, ensuring compliance with the tax calendar.

Project Control

• Monitor the administrative and financial performance of projects, including revenue, costs and margins.
• Review cost allocation and follow up on projects pending invoicing.
• Work with business teams to keep project financial information up to date.

Reporting & Control

• Support monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Extract and review information from the ERP.

Other

• Support audits, intercompany reconciliations and transactions.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting, or a related field.
• Around 3 years of experience in accounting, administration or a Finance department.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Good level of Excel.
• Good knowledge of general accounting and basic knowledge of Spanish taxation.
• Organized, proactive and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite, Sage or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI or My Dashboard.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot.
