André De Freitas

André De Freitas is a critically acclaimed, award-winning stand-up comedian and actor from Portugal. André has amassed over 60 million views across social platforms and has performed in over 30 countries across Europe, the United States, Australia, and the Middle East. 

Andre moved to NYC in December of 2025 and now headlines at the world famous Comedy Cellar in Manhattan,where he’s the first Portuguese comedian and amongst a select group of Europeans to become a regular at the club.

He was recently awarded with the “Best International New Act” by the world famous Comic’s Lounge at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. In 2023, André debuted his first solo hour, What If, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he became the first ever Portuguese comedian to perform a comedy solo at Fringe. André is the co-creator and star of Comedy Therapy, a live show and podcast blending humor and mental health, which became a box-office success and charted as the #3 podcast in Portugal.

André was featured in the BBC World Service Arts Hour Comedy Special in 2024, and previously co-wrote and co-starred in a global ad campaign for crypto giants Bybit alongside Formula 1 champions Max Verstappen and Sergio “Checo” Perez.
